Brainspotting

What is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting is a gentle, brain-based therapy that helps access and heal the parts of the brain where trauma, emotional pain, and stress can become “stuck.” By identifying specific eye positions—called brainspots—that connect to these deeper experiences, Brainspotting allows the brain and body to process and release what has been holding them back.

This approach works with your nervous system rather than forcing insight or re-telling events in detail. Many clients find Brainspotting helpful for trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, negative self-beliefs, and emotional overwhelm. Sessions move at your pace and emphasize safety, attunement, and the body’s natural capacity to heal.

Brainspotting can be used on its own or integrated with other therapeutic approaches to support deeper healing and lasting change.

Brainspotting can be done in a typical 50-60 minute session. However, many find that they would like to have longer time in order to process and integrate their experience. Contact us to learn more and find out if a Brainspotting intensive is right for you.
