I specialize in supporting children, teens, and adults who are navigating trauma histories, anxiety, relationships, and big emotions that feel hard to manage alone. My approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and collaboration—therapy with me is not about judgment or “fixing,” but about making sense of your experiences and learning new ways to move through the world with clarity and self-trust.

My road to becoming a therapist was not direct nor easy. Yet it helped to shape my therapeutic approach and gave me clarity to help my clients. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Iowa in Communication Studies and a Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College. The years between my two degrees gave me a lot of wisdom not only from working in retail management and marketing and being a stay-at-home mom, but from all the life that was lived and witnessed with myself, friends, and family.

Outside of the therapy room, you might find me at one of my three teenage children’s sporting or school events, hanging out with my dog and husband of over 20 years, or laughing with friends while enjoying a meal together.
